Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Concord, NC. This role offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights, and the chance to impact patients while working with a dedicated clinical team.

As an ER RN, you will triage, administer meds, assist physicians, document care in EMR, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment. Required experience includes 1 year in ER and active RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• One year of recent ER RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapid triage and prioritization of patient care in a fast-paced ED.
• Explain procedures to patients and families and obtain informed consent as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per emergency protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during treatments and exams.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety and document findings in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, social workers and staff.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
