Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Clyde, North Carolina. You will assess, treat, and document in a fast-paced ED, working 12-hour nights with 36 hours per week and a travel-friendly schedule.

The role requires ER RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, plus the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team in a travel setting. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany the assignment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent ER RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved emergency nursing techniques and protocols.
• Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergency treatments and examinations.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout their time in the emergency department, responding to immediate needs.
• Document comprehensive nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR.
