Job summary

PEL/VIP is seeking a travel nurse RN for the ED in Peoria, IL. Join a Level 1 trauma emergency department team providing acute care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a teaching hospital setting.

Ideal candidates have active IL RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications, and EPIC charting experience. Travel assignments involved with 12-hour nights and a 26-week duration.

Qualifications

• Active IL license or confirmation of application process.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications.
• Proficient in critical care and handling of emergency situations.
• Experience with EPIC charting system.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to a diverse patient population.
• Stabilize trauma patients in a specialized unit.
• Titrate and manage a wide variety of drips and critical care equipment.
• Interpret and act on patient rhythms with the use of monitors.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the ER.
