Job summary

PEL/VIP is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Harvey, Illinois. The assignment is 13 weeks long with 36 hours per week and 12-hour night shifts in a Level I Trauma Center. A fast-paced teaching hospital setting is preferred, with Epic charting and a negotiable weekly gross pay.

The selected candidate will have 1+ year of ED experience, certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS), and willingness to float as needed. Public benefits and travel stipends may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of emergency department experience.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma ED.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS.
• Preferred: TNCC, CPI

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in a Level I Trauma Center.
• Administer emergency medications and treatments.
• Provide care for ventilated patients.
• Interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias.
• Perform triage and manage emergency room flow.
