Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week acute care assignment in Lincoln, Nebraska. The role requires 2+ years of ED experience and active ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

Epic EMR experience is preferred, and RN license must be current in state or compact. You will work in a 33-bed ED with 2 trauma bays (adult and pediatric), 1:4 nurse-patient ratio, 12-hour shifts, and weekend coverage every 3rd weekend; travel housing and

Qualifications

Active RN license (state or compact/NLC) required.
Minimum 2 years of ED experience required.
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC (all active, pending not accepted).
ENPC and NRP certifications considered a bonus.
Epic EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department treating adult and pediatric patients.
Maintain 1 RN to 4 patient ratio.
Support 33-bed ED with 2 trauma bays and triage area.
Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and order entry.
Coordinate with ED physicians, RN colleagues, and support staff.
