Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Sparks, Nevada. The RN will deliver patient care in the emergency department or other emergent critical care areas, applying the nursing process in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires an active RN license in the relevant state, ER experience preferred, and CPR as applicable. Additional certifications such as CEN are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in the practicing state.
• Minimum of one year ER experience preferred.
• CEN certification preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the emergency department or other emergent critical care areas.
• Apply the nursing process to deliver patient care and ensure safety in high-stress settings.
