MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Overland Park, Kansas. You will join a fast-paced ED team on a 13-week assignment, working 12-hour day shifts with travel benefits and comprehensive credentialing support.

Active RN license and a nursing degree are required, along with 18 months of acute care ER experience. BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC may be required; employer provides housing options and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room.

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.
• Provide care for patients requiring emergency attention and life-saving interventions.
