Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel ER RN for an assignment in Leawood, Kansas. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and will work 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, for a 12-week travel engagement.

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• 1 year of recent acute care RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care following physician instructions.
• Care for patients in a fast-paced emergency environment.
• Document medical history, monitor vital signs and report findings.
• Provide basic bedside care, IV therapy and wound care.
• Maintain supplies and report suspected abuse to authorities.
