Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Room travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in San Antonio, TX. The ER RN will work 12-hour night shifts, averaging 36 hours per week, in a fast-paced emergency department. Requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and active PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications.

Travel pay package is based on shifts with potential tax-free stipends. The role includes evaluating, triaging, and delivering care per physician instructions, documenting history and vitals,

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• Current PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care following physician instructions.
• Document medical history, allergies, vital signs and patient status.
• Provide basic bedside care and monitor patients in a fast-paced ER environment.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment and report any abuse to authorities.
