Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Denton, Texas. The ER RN will work 12-hour night shifts on a 36-hour week (travel assignment) with a 13-week duration.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience and hold ACLS, BLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, CPI certifications. ER duties include triage, bedside care, IV therapy, documentation and patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC and CPI certifications
• Minimum 1–2 years of acute care experience

Responsibilities

• Triage and evaluate patients in a fast-paced ER setting
• Provide bedside care, wound care and IV therapy as needed
• Document medical histories, vital signs and patient status
• Monitor patients' condition and communicate with team and physicians
