Job summary

TotalMed is seeking an Emergency Department travel RN for Evansville, IN. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience with a 12-hour shift, 36 hours per week, and travel assignment details. The RN will evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions in a fast-paced ED setting.

Qualifications include ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH certifications and a willingness to travel. Prior ER travel experience is a plus, with duties including documentation and patient care coordination.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH certifications are required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of acute care or ER experience preferred.
• Travel RN experience is a plus.
• 3 years of total nursing experience noted in posting.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside ED care in a fast-paced environment.
• Evaluate and triage patients and follow physician orders.
• Document medical history, vitals, and care plans.
• Administer IV therapy and assist in procedures.
