Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Room travel nurse (RN, ED) for a 13-week assignment in Indianapolis, IN. The role requires ACLS/BLS/PALS/TNCC certifications and 2 years of ER experience.

Nighthawk shifts—12 hours—36 hours per week—travel employment with a tax-free stipend potential. Responsibilities include evaluating, triaging and implementing care in a fast-paced ED, documenting medical history and vital signs, and providing bedside care, IV therapy, wound care, and patient education.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC certifications required.
• 2 years of recent ER/acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients in a fast-paced ER setting.
• Provide basic bedside care and IV therapy.
• Clean and bandage wounds and maintain supplies/equipment.
• Document history, allergies and vital signs; monitor patient well-being.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
