Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a highly skilled ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Springfield, Illinois. You will provide rapid-response, high-quality care in a fast-paced ED, with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

The role emphasizes assessment, intervention, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes in critical situations.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent ER RN experience.
• Valid RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Triage and assess incoming patients, prioritizing care by severity.
• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments per emergency protocols.
• Assist physicians during emergency treatments and examinations.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety in the ED and document findings.

Education

RN license verification (valid)
