Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Fort Wayne, IN. The ER RN will provide rapid-response, high-quality care in a fast-paced ED, triaging patients, administering treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Required qualifications include 1 year ER RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS, plus PALS or ENPC. Additional certifications such as TNCC or NIHSS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year ER RN experience and valid RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications.
• Preferred additional certifications such as TNCC/NIHSS/NRP/SANE.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients rapidly upon arrival.
• Explain emergency procedures to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications per protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergencies.
• Monitor patient conditions and document assessments in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and support staff.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
