Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the ED in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. This travel assignment runs for 13 weeks with a 36-hour work week and 12-hour day shifts.

Requirements include an active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, and 18 months of recent Acute Care ER experience. BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC may be required depending on the facility.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Properly understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.
• Provide care for patients from various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention and life-threatening condition management.
