Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Room travel nurse (RN) for an 8-week assignment in Minneapolis, MN. The ER RN will evaluate, triage and implement care in a fast-paced environment, perform bedside procedures, document history, monitor vitals and provide IV therapy.

Requires BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS and 2 years of acute care experience; travel role with 12-hour evening shifts and 36 hours/week. Competitive benefits and weekly pay available through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS certifications required.
• 2 years of ER/acute care experience required.
• Ability to work 12-hour evening shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions.
• Document medical history and vital signs; monitor emotional and physical well-being.
• Perform bedside care, wound care, IV therapy, and maintain supplies/equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
