Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Room RN for a travel assignment in Austin, Texas. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and ACLS/BLS and other certifications as noted.

You will work 12-hour days on a 36-hour weekly schedule and provide ER care in a fast-paced environment. The position offers travel benefits, with a focus on patient triage, rapid assessment, and coordination with physicians to deliver high-quality emergency care.

Qualifications

• RN with 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certification required; NIH, TNCC, ENPC may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
