Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Room Travel Nurse (RN) for the ED in Houston, Texas. This 13-week travel assignment offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts; pay details are to be determined.

1–2 years of acute care ER experience preferred with required certifications. RNs will evaluate, triage and provide care under physician instructions in a fast-paced environment, document patient histories, and communicate with patients and families.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, TNCC, CPI, 2 years experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care in a fast-paced ED setting under physician instructions.
• Perform basic bedside care, monitor patient vitals and document care.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment; ensure safety and assist with procedures.
