Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Live Oak, TX. The RN will provide rapid-response, high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department, triaging and treating patients with supervision from ED physicians.

The role requires active ER experience, valid RN license, and current BLS/ACLS; PALS/ENPC preferred. Travel pay packages and benefits accompany this opportunity with clinical support and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

One year of ER RN experience
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification

Responsibilities

Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival
Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families
Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocols
Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergency treatments and examinations
Monitor patient safety and comfort in the ED
Observe and document patient conditions within scope of practice
Take and monitor vital signs with clinical judgment
Document nursing assessments, interventions and outcomes in EMR
Initiate patient education plans according to needs
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, paramedics and staff
