Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for the ED in Live Oak, Texas on a 12-week contract with 36 hours per week and 12-hour shifts. As a Nurse Navigator/Charge-ED traveler, you will perform patient assessments in a busy emergency department, recognize changes in conditions, collaborate with the team, and assist with trauma procedures and resuscitation while maintaining patient flow.

Qualifications

• RN with ED experience and appropriate certifications is required.
• TNCC/ENPC or PALS/ACLS/BLS/CPI certifications are preferred.
• 12-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week and 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment and care in a busy emergency department setting.
• Recognize changes in patient conditions and respond accordingly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient patient flow and safety.
• Administer treatments including trauma procedures, moderate sedation, and resuscitation.
• Monitor cardiac and trauma assessments, conduct sepsis workups, and perform procedures as needed.
