Job summary
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Ottumwa, Iowa. This position runs 13 weeks with a 36-hour work week, starting 10/26/2026, in a 12-hour day shift.
Join a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency providing direct housing options, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits. Eligible RNs must have an active license and ER experience, with potential BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC requirements depending on client facility.
Qualifications
- Active RN license is required.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program is required.
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions.
Responsibilities
- Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
- Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
- Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients’ physical and mental health.
- Provide care for patients requiring emergency attention and treat life-threatening conditions.
