Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Des Moines, Iowa. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on a nights 12-hour shift, starting 10/19/2026.

Active RN license and degree from an accredited nursing program are required, with BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC potentially needed. Our client facility offers comprehensive credentialing coverage, housing options, and competitive benefits for travel professionals.

Qualifications

Active RN license required.
Degree from an accredited nursing program.
BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions.
Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

Assess, intervene and stabilize trauma and illnesses needing emergency care.
Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health.
Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
Provide care to patients with a range of conditions requiring urgent treatment.
