Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a Critical Access Level IV Trauma Center in Alaska. Must hold an active AK RN license and have 2+ years of ER experience.

Position features 3x12 shifts with a 1:4 patient ratio, mainly night coverage, and no on-call requirements. Epic EMR is used for charting; TSA-seasonal volume increases occur April–September, with travel housing and licensure reimbursements offered.

Qualifications

• Active AK RN license required.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC required; CPI, ENPC, NIHSS, and NRP preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of RN ER experience preferred; ER setting experience preferred.
• New grads with EMS/paramedic background considered.

Responsibilities

• Care for combined adult/pediatric ED patients in a regional trauma center.
• Work in a 1:4 patient ratio in 3x12 shifts (some nights, variable start times).
• Provide emergency care for trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neuro, psychiatric, and pediatric cases.
• Utilize Epic EMR for charting and documentation.
