American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Alaska, with Level 1–3 trauma experience and a background in travel nursing.

The role requires AK RN license, active certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS/NIHSS/TNCC) and 3+ years in ER trauma, plus 1 year as internal staff RN. Housing is provided; travel duties include rotating shifts and on-call during a 4-week schedule.

Qualifications

• Active AK RN license required at time of consideration.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC.
• ENPC certification preferred.
• 3+ years ER RN experience in a Level 1-3 trauma facility required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as internal staff RN required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.

Responsabilités

• Emergency Department setting in a hospital environment
• Day and evening shifts, 12-hour shifts (11:00-23:30), with mid and day shift variations
• Weekend requirement of 3 weekends per 4-week schedule period
• On-call requirement of 1-2 shifts per 4-week schedule period in addition to regular hours
• Floating required as needed
• Holiday coverage may be required for any holiday and surrounding days
• Candidate's permanent residence must be 50+ miles outside of Fairbanks
• Up to 14 days of RTO may be requested, including a maximum of 4 weekend shifts
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration
• Holiday RTO cannot be accommodated during the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
• Free private 1-bedroom housing is provided for 1 occupant; pets are not permitted
• A vehicle is recommended for transportation due to winter conditions
