Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for an ER travel assignment in Glendale, CA. Start date 10/12/2026 for 13 weeks, guaranteed 36 hours per week, with 3x12-hour days from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

You will deliver direct nursing care, collect data, coordinate with disciplines, administer medications, support discharge planning, and educate patients. California RN license required along with BLS/CPR; ACLS and PALS; Epic EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

California RN license required.
BLS/CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications required; CPI/TEAM or TEAM-A required.
Minimum two years of acute care RN experience; Epic EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care for a patient or assigned group following the nursing process and standards.
Collect data, analyze assessments, and develop planning to meet patient outcomes.
Implement the plan, coordinate care with other disciplines, and supervise nursing staff.
Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care in the medical record.
Collaborate with the care team and participate in discharge planning for continuity of care.
Educate patients and families, provide health information, and contribute to a healing environment.
