Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for an ER travel assignment in Glendale, California. Start on 10/12/2026 for 13 weeks, with guaranteed 36 hours per week and weekly pay in the range of $2,172 to $2,278.

Responsibilities include delivering coordinated ER nursing care, data collection and analysis, care planning, discharge planning, and patient education. Requires CA RN license; BSN preferred; Epic EMR experience; ability to work 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM.

Qualifications

CA RN license required (state of practice)
BSN degree preferred
Minimum of two years of ER experience
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; CPI/TEAM or TEAM-A; NIH Stroke Scale
Epic EMR experience required
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital ER travel assignment

Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated ER nursing care according to standards and nursing process
Collect and analyze data, identify care issues, and contribute to diagnoses and care planning
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans; adjust interventions as needed
Coordinate with physicians, specialists, and nursing staff; supervise activities across levels
Participate in discharge planning for continuity of care and patient education
Document care accurately in the medical record and provide patient/family education
