ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Baltimore, MD. This 13-week travel assignment features 3x12 hour nights and a 36-hour week, with every other weekend and holiday required.

The ER RN will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced setting, require 2+ years in ER, and be proficient with EPIC charting. ACLS/BLS/CPI/NIHSS certifications are mandatory, with MD or compact-state licensure.

Qualifications

• ACL S, BLS, CPI, NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years ER experience.

Responsibilities

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ER setting. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and will be proficient in managing a variety of acute medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, performing necessary interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide patient and family education on health management and rehabilitation.
• Document patient care and progress using the EPIC charting system.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in MD or compact state.
• ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting.
• Experience with EPIC charting is mandatory.
