ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the ED in Weston, West Virginia. This contract is 13 weeks long with 36 hours per week, consisting of 12-hour night shifts.

The ER RN will perform rapid assessments, triage, trauma management, and advanced life support in a fast-paced environment. Strong IV access and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years ER RN experience.
• Current WV RN license or Compact license.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• TNCC preferred.
• Experience with rapid assessment and trauma management.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid assessment and triage in the ED.
• Provide trauma management and advanced life support to critically ill patients.
• Maintain IV access and other interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with respiratory, phlebotomy, radiology, and pharmacy.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The ER RN will be responsible for rapid assessment, triage, trauma management, and advanced life support for patients with various medical conditions. Expert knowledge in IV access and other interventions is essential.

• Conduct rapid assessments and triage patients in the emergency department.
• Provide trauma management and advanced life support to critically ill patients.
• Maintain expert knowledge in IV access and various advanced interventions.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary support services including respiratory, phlebotomy, radiology, and pharmacy.
• Ensure adherence to emergency protocols and maintain high standards of patient care.

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience.
• Current RN license in West Virginia or Compact License.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (all must be through the American Heart Association), TNCC preferred.
• Experience with rapid assessment, trauma management, and advanced airway management.
