ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN in the Emergency Department for a 13-week assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. This travel position features a 12-hour night shift and a ASAP start in a high-volume ED.

Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of nursing experience with 1 year in ER, certification requirements ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI and NIHSS (ENPC within 90 days). ARMStaffing provides benefits, housing/travel allowances, and 24/7 support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, with at least 1 year in ER.
• Experience in a Level 2 trauma center and high-volume ED preferred.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS; ENPC within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to coach and provide real-time feedback.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Department.

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, a high-volume area catering to a diverse community. You will work in a fast-paced environment providing critical care to patients in need.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care and experience.
• Participate actively in the triage process and cardiac monitoring.
• Update boards with patient information and provide continuous updates throughout their visit.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work in all areas within the Emergency Department.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a nurse, with at least 1 year in an ER setting.
• Experience in a Level 2 trauma center and high-volume Emergency Department preferred.
