Healthforce is seeking an ER Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Dundee, Kansas. Start date is 09/27/2026 for a 13-week duration. Pay is $2,077–$2,219 per week with guaranteed hours not specified.

Shift is 12-hour nights (1900-0700) in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital. Active Kansas RN license and multiple certifications are required. Responsibilities include triage, stabilization, medication administration, and collaboration with the team.

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or eligible to practice in Kansas.
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications.
Minimum 1 year ER experience with travel; 2 years ER + 1 year travel preferred.
Ability to float to units within scope of practice.
Availability for 12-hour night shifts with weekend rotations; holidays as unit needs.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care to ER patients, including initial assessment, triage, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring.
Administer medications, IV therapies and other treatments per physician orders; observe and document patient responses.
Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team; communicate patient status and plan of care; maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
Perform ER procedures within scope of practice; assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges; support rapid disposition decisions.
Monitor for changes in condition, respond to emergencies, activate code protocols as needed, and ensure patient safety and infection control.
Educate patients and families, provide discharge instructions, and coordinate follow-up care when appropriate.
