Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel ER assignment in Dundee, Kansas. This 13-week shift features 12-hour nights in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital's Emergency Department.

Start date is 10/04/2026, with virtual orientation and guaranteed hours of 0.0; weekly pay ranges from $2,227 to $2,291. Nurses must have ER experience and active certifications; travel experience is preferred. Biweekly payroll and a nicotine-free facility policy are also provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of ER experience; travel experience preferred.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive ED nursing care for acutely ill or injured patients, including initial assessment, triage, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring.
• Administer medications and treatments, perform nursing procedures, monitor responses, and document findings in the EHR.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other care team members to develop and adjust patient care plans; support patient flow and safety.
• Respond to emergencies and code events per established protocols; initiate rapid assessment and interventions as needed.
• Educate patients and families about treatments, discharge planning, and post-ED care; ensure infection control and safety standards.
• Float to units within scope of practice as needed; adhere to unit policies and maintain professional standards.
