Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Tullahoma, Tennessee. The ER RN will provide rapid-response, high-quality care in a busy ED, triaging patients and partnering with physicians and specialists.

The role requires current TN RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC, plus at least one year of ER experience. TNCC and other certifications are preferred. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany the assignment.

Qualifications

One year of recent ER RN experience.
Current RN license valid in TN state regulations.
Current BLS certification.
Current ACLS certification.
Current PALS or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity.
Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocols.
Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergency treatments.
Monitor patient comfort and safety in the ED and address needs.
Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR.
Initiate patient education plans considering the acute care context.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, paramedics, and support staff.
Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control, and standards.
