Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare seeks a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department travel assignment in Lodi, California. The 13-week assignment starts on 11/09/2026 with ~36 hours per week in 12-hour shifts within a fast-paced ED setting.

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility to practice in the United States.
Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency care environment.
Strong communication, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent discretion in clinical decisions.
Perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care; document outcomes and respond to changes in patient condition.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans; contribute to patient and family education as appropriate.
