Job summary
American Traveler has an immediate opening for an Emergency Room RN (Urgent Care & Trauma Support) at a Magnet hospital in Concord, California. Qualifications
- 1+ year of ER experience in this setting.
- Active nursing license as required by the state.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification (recommended and may be required).
- Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required.
- Professional references available on request.

Responsibilities
- Assess patients' injuries or conditions upon arrival.
- Communicate assessment findings to physicians.
- Assist in implementing treatment plans and administer medications/IVs.
- Perform EKGs and other triage elements.
- Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and home care.
