Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced registered nurse for an Emergency Department role in California. CA RN licensure and Epic EMR experience are essential, with a minimum of three years of recent ER work.

BSN preferred and strict no adverse licensure actions policy apply. The position features a day shift (07:00 AM–07:30 PM) with 36–48 hours weekly, offering high pay, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

CA RN license is required.
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI/TEAM/TEAM-A certifications required.
Minimum three years ER experience in the last three months.
BSN is preferred.
No prior adverse licensure actions allowed.

Responsibilities

Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital.
Day shift schedule, 36-48 hours per week, 07:00 AM-07:30 PM.
Epic EMR experience required.
Deliver coordinated nursing care according to standards and the nursing process.
Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines.
Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, healing care.
Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education.
Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered.
Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions.
Traveler may only be submitted to one hospital within the health system at a time.
