HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Room travel assignment in Bakersfield, California. The 13-week contract starts 10/12/2026 with nights and 12-hour shifts (3x12).

Weekly pay ranges from $2,119 to $2,191 and guaranteed hours are 0.0; position is travel – temporary in a hospital setting. You will provide direct ER nursing care, assess and document patient status, supervise nursing staff, and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license valid for the location.
• ER nursing experience or ability to provide high-acuity, emergent care.
• Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts.
• Willingness to participate in travel, temporary assignment.
• Eligibility to work in the United States for a 13-week contract.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and coordinated nursing care for ER patients per standards.
• Assess needs, plan and implement care, document progress, adjust as needed.
• Supervise nursing staff across levels to ensure safe care.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
• Monitor status, recognize changes, respond with appropriate interventions.
• Maintain safety, infection control and quality standards.
