Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Austell, GA for a 13-week travel assignment starting 09/28/2026. The role includes 12-hour night shifts (36 hours per week) in a high-volume ED with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include rapid assessment, monitoring, medication administration, coordinating with physicians and staff, and documenting care in the electronic medical record. Weekly pay ranges from $1,627 to $1,768 with ongoing clinical support.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, including rapid assessment, monitoring, and timely intervention for a diverse patient population.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as ordered, and monitor responses while managing potential adverse effects.
• Collaborate with physicians, licensed and unlicensed team members, and ancillary staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document all patient assessments, treatments, and care plans accurately in the electronic medical record and ensure timely, compliant reporting.
• Monitor vital signs, recognize early signs of deterioration, respond to emergencies, and participate in rapid response or code scenarios as needed.
• Support patients and families with education, discharge planning, and coordination of follow-up care.
