Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for ER travel assignment in Canton, GA. The role runs 13 weeks, with 36 guaranteed hours weekly, and a 12-hour night shift (7pm–7am) on a 12x3 schedule. Start date is 11/16/2026; must cover major holidays and be willing to travel.

Position requires ER experience, GA RN license, and certifications (BLS, NIHSS, PALS, ACLS). Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered. Travel support and credentialing assistance provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in GA
• Minimum 2 years ER nursing experience
• Certifications: BLS, NIHSS, PALS, ACLS

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ER, including initial assessment and ongoing monitoring
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy in emergent situations
• Assist with emergency procedures and support resuscitation teams as needed
• Triage patients, coordinate with physicians and staff to optimize throughput
• Document care accurately and ensure patient safety and infection control standards
• Communicate with patients and families and participate in discharge planning
