Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Travel ED Registered Nurse to support Lewiston, Maine ED operations during night shifts. The assignment is 12 weeks with per-shift pay ranging $56.00–$64.00 gross, billed as travel staffing.

You will provide direct patient care, supervise staff as needed, and coordinate patient flow to ensure safe, high-quality care. Required are active RN license in state, BLS, ACLS, and PALS, plus at least one year of ED experience in acute care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
• PALS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
• Minimum 1 year ED nursing in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversees ED operations and staffing during assigned shifts.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments.
• Supervises and coaches staff development.
• Assists with performance management and HR-related activities.
• Monitors supplies, equipment, and unit readiness; coordinates patient flow, admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Addresses patient care concerns and escalates issues.
• Rounds with patients and families to support a positive experience.
• Provides direct patient care when needed to maintain safe staffing levels.
