Job summary

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department travel assignment in Templeton, California. Start date 11/02/2026 for a 13-week contract with guaranteed hours. Shift is 3x12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). Short-term acute care hospital setting with EPIC EMR.

Weekly pay ranges from $2,185 to $2,257 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Healthforce Healthcare LLC provides credentialing and assignment support for this travel role.

Qualifications

Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Current RN license in California.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; TNCC within 6 months of hire.
NIHSS training/competency and EPIC EMR experience required.
At least two years of recent acute care ED/ER experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive ED nursing care including triage, treatment, and discharge planning.
Perform triage assessments, monitor vitals, and communicate abnormalities to ED M.D.
Administer medications, manage IV therapy and blood products, and care for catheters/drains.
Interpret ECG rhythms, monitor telemetry, and respond to life-threatening events.
Participate in Code Blue/Stroke/Sepsis/Trauma activations with ED team.
Document in EPIC with discharge instructions and patient education.
