MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN in the Emergency Department for a travel assignment in Austin, Texas. The role features a 12-hour night shift, 36 hours per week, over a 13-week duration with travel benefits and housing options.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license and at least 18 months of ER experience, with BLS, ACLS, PALS and possibly TNCC as required. A strong support network and competitive benefits accompany this assignment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions.
• 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Prioritize injuries based on medical need through proper triage.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health status.
• Provide ER care and support during night shift operations.
