Job summary

UPMC Travel Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with Emergency Department experience to join our System Float Team. This full-time, permanent role involves rotating to different UPMC facilities across Pennsylvania, New York, and Western Maryland, providing care and expanding professional networks.

Qualifications

• RN with Emergency Department experience.
• Ability to rotate to different facilities.
• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in assigned UPMC facilities and units.
• Rotate assignments approximately every six weeks and redeploy as needed.
• Communicate patient status clearly with physicians and healthcare team.
• Follow hospital policies, infection control, and confidentiality requirements.
• Build effective working relationships across clinical environments.
• Participate in patient education, discharge planning, and professional development.
