MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Electrophysiology Technician for a 13-week assignment in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The EP Tech will support the cardiac catheterization and EP team, perform imaging verification, and ensure patient records are accurately updated.

The candidate should have a current license, applicable certifications, and about 18 months of EP lab experience, preferably in a critical care setting. Travel benefits include housing options and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Eighteen months of EP Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with patient care in the electrophysiology lab through technical support to the cardiac catheterization and EP team.
• Use imaging equipment to help the doctor detect and treat heart and blood vessel issues.
• Review patient history and verify medical orders; ensure accurate documentation of imaging results.
• Evaluate image quality and confirm the area of interest is included in the images.
• Assist physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in EP labs; ensure regulatory compliance.
