Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Electrophysiology Technician for a 13-week assignment in Brandon, Florida. The position requires a valid license, EP lab experience, and appropriate certifications, with 40 hours per week on 10-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of EP Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Current License in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care support in the electrophysiology lab alongside the cardiac catheterization and EP team.
• Use imaging equipment to help the doctor detect and treat heart and blood vessel issues.
• Review patient history and verify the medical order; ensure image quality and coverage of the area of interest.
• Communicate image results to the doctor and assist physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in EP labs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
