Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro in Fallon, NV is seeking an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Tech to assist with studies, ablations, device implantations, and patient care. You’ll operate EP lab equipment, monitor rhythms, and help maintain sterile technique while supporting the care team with treatment planning and documentation.

This role requires at least one year of EP lab experience, current BLS/ACLS and ARRT/RCES/RCIS certifications, strong ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication with

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrophysiology studies, cardiac ablations, and device implantations.
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor their status.
• Operate and troubleshoot EP lab equipment and ensure sterile technique.
• Monitor patient responses and report changes to the care team.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to develop treatment plans and document assessments.

Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Tech

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrophysiology studies, cardiac ablations, and device implantations;
• prepare patients;
• operate and troubleshoot EP lab equipment;
• monitor patient responses;
• ensure safety and sterile procedures;
• support cardiac mapping and interventions;
• provide patient education and post-procedure care;
• collaborate with the care team to develop treatment plans;
• document assessments and procedures;
• respond to changes in patient condition.

Qualifications & Skills

• At least one year of recent EP Lab Tech experience;
• current BLS, ACLS, and certifications such as ARRT, RCES, or RCIS;
• strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills;
• physical ability to handle equipment and assist with procedures;
• ability to work under pressure and follow instructions;
• visual acuity and technical proficiency.

Key Duties

• Conduct assessments, assist physicians, administer medications, monitor cardiac rhythms, maintain sterile environment, and support seamless workflow in the EP lab.
