Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab seeks a skilled Electrophysiology Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Baton Rouge, LA. The role supports EP studies, ablations, and device implantations, with patient prep, procedure assistance, and post-procedure care.

The position requires one year of EP lab experience, BLS, ARRT/RCES/RCIS, and ACLS. Strong English communication, critical thinking, and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• One year of recent EP Lab Tech experience
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Current ACLS certification

Responsibilities

• Assist in electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device implantations
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor responses
• Administer medications including conscious sedation per physician orders
• Maintain sterile technique and assist with equipment setup and troubleshooting
• Educate patients and families about procedures and pre/post-care
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed
• Collaborate with care team to implement patient-centered plans
• Provide post-procedure care and monitor recovery
