Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Electrophysiology Lab for a travel nursing job in Burlington, Vermont. The assignment is 16 weeks, 40 hours per week, with 10-hour days in the EP Lab.

The right RN should have at least 1 year of EP Lab experience, ACLS and BLS; responsibilities include assisting physicians with complex procedures, EP mappings, ablations, pacemaker/defibrillator implants, and monitoring equipment.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year EP Lab experience.
• RN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Learn complex technologies in EP Lab.
• Assist physicians with EP procedures that diagnose and treat heart rhythm problems.
• Assist with ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implants, cardioversions and loop recorder implants.
• Support diagnostic studies such as cardiac mapping and EP studies.
