Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare seeks a Registered Nurse for an EP Lab travel assignment in Burlington, VT. The 16-week contract starts November 2, 2026, with a 40-hour week across four 10-hour shifts.

Responsibilities include direct patient care for adults undergoing electrophysiology procedures, assisting during EP studies, maintaining sterile technique, and documenting in EPIC. Vermont RN license, EP Lab experience, EPIC proficiency, and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Active Vermont RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience; EP Lab experience preferred.
• EPIC experience within the last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for adults undergoing electrophysiology procedures, including pre- and post-procedure care.
• Assist physicians during EP studies and ablations, monitor hemodynamics, and respond to arrhythmias per protocol.
• Maintain sterile technique and EP lab equipment, ensuring readiness for procedures.
• Document care and procedural data in the EP lab EMR (EPIC) with accuracy and timeliness.
• Interpret basic EKG rhythms and coordinate patient care with the cardiology team.
• May float to outpatient facilities and participate in on-call activities; collaborate with IP, OP, and ICU teams.
