Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Electrophysiology Lab in Bridgeport, Connecticut. This 13-week travel assignment offers 40 hours per week, 10-hour day shifts, and a need for EP Lab experience.

The RN will assist with procedures, maintain equipment, and support physicians in diagnosing and treating heart rhythm problems, including ablations and implants. ACLS and BLS are required; minimum 1 year EP Lab experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year of EP Lab experience.
• Ability to stand/walk long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with EP procedures for diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm problems.
• Maintain and monitor EP lab equipment and supplies.
• Support ablations, pacemaker/defibrillator implants, cardioversions, and EP studies.
• Perform or assist with diagnostic studies such as cardiac mapping and EP studies.
