Job summary

Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Electrophysiology Technician for a travel assignment in Springfield, Illinois. The role involves performing complex EP procedures within an acute care hospital, using advanced mapping systems and Cardo Micropace equipment.

Expect 40-hour weeks, 10-hour days, and a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate holds 5+ years in EP, with proficiency in EP diagnostics, ablations, and device implantations; Illinois license active at submission.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in electrophysiology
• Proficient in EP diagnostic procedures and ablations
• Experience with cardiac devices and mapping systems
• Ability to operate Cardo Micropace units
• Illinois license active at submission (preferred ACLS/ARRT R)

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with complex EP procedures including arrhythmia induction, ablation (PFA, RF), and device implantations
• Ensure sterile technique and operate imaging and mapping equipment
• Interpret dysrhythmias and provide post-procedure care within scope
• May stay past scheduled shifts to complete procedures
• Willingness to travel and float to related cardiac procedures
